Cleantech is extremely important for the&nbsp;Region as environmental challenges have become more important due to its geographical proximity to Germany, Belgium,&nbsp;Switzerland&nbsp;and Luxembourg.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Networks of excellence to support the sector&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A cluster of the water sector&nbsp;in Eastern France,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hydreos.fr\/EN\/home.html\"> Aquanova<\/a> is active in the fields of sustainable water infrastructure, intelligent water management and wetland ecosystems. It has 160 members, including companies,&nbsp;laboratories&nbsp;and local authorities.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also active in the cleantech field, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vehiculedufutur.com\/\">\u00a0V\u00e9hicule\u00a0du\u00a0Futur\u00a0cluster<\/a> participates in the global vision of the sector by encouraging projects oriented towards sustainable development.
