Agronutris, a biotech pioneer in alternative proteins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Agronutris is a French biotech<\/strong> company specializing in the breeding and processing of black soldier fly larvae into proteins for the food industry<\/strong>. Backed by 12 years of R&D, it relies on a team of entomology experts and food industry specialists to deliver high-quality, sustainable products to food markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Successful industrial deployment in Eastern France<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Si son si\u00e8ge social et son centre de R&D sont implant\u00e9s \u00e0 Saint-Orens-de-Gameville, pr\u00e8s de Toulouse, Agronutris a choisi Rethel, dans les Ardennes<\/strong>, pour construire son premier site industriel dont la production a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2023<\/strong>. D\u2019une surface de 16 000 m2, cette usine a \u00e9t\u00e9 financ\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une lev\u00e9e de fonds de 100 millions d\u2019euros en 2021. Une seconde unit\u00e9 de production sera implant\u00e9e \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 imm\u00e9diate<\/strong>, permettant la cr\u00e9ation, dans le Grand Est, de l\u2019un des plus gros sites industriels du monde d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux prot\u00e9ines d\u2019insectes<\/strong> dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While its head office and R&D center are located in Saint-Orens-de-Gameville, near Toulouse, Agronutris chose Rethel, in the Ardennes<\/strong>, to build its first industrial site, with production starting up in summer 2023<\/strong>. With a surface area of 16,000 m2, this plant was financed by a fund-raising of 100 million euros in 2021. A second production unit will be set up in the immediate vicinity<\/strong>, creating one of the world’s largest industrial sites dedicated to insect proteins<\/strong> in the Grand Est region over the next few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
