16/09/26 > 18/09/26International Conference on Biomolecules
The Biomolecules for the Bioeconomy (B4B) program at I-SITE Lorraine is organizing the 3rd International Conference on Biomolecules: Innovations in Research and Applications, to be held September 16–18, 2026, at the University of Lorraine’s main campus, Cours Léopold in Nancy. This international event will bring together researchers, faculty members, industry representatives, and decision-makers to address the scientific, economic, and societal challenges related to biomolecules.
A program focused on research, development, and acceptability
The 2026 program is structured into four sessions focused on the bioprospecting of natural substances from plants and microorganisms, as well as on associated analytical and digital approaches.
Presentations will cover:
- The exploration of plant and microbial diversity as sources of specialized metabolites,
- Next-generation methods enabling the accelerated identification of natural substances and their biological functions,
- The integration of these methods with artificial intelligence to accelerate the identification and characterization of new biomolecules.
- The goal is to foster interdisciplinary exchanges and international collaborations between academic research and the socio-economic sector, with a view toward a sustainable bioeconomy.
