After ten years of research and a €7 million fundraiser, Blackleaf is preparing to launch its liquid graphene production on an industrial scale in early 2025. For its development, the Strasbourg start-up chose Eastern France.

UMIAMI launches its industrial plant protein production in Eastern France

The young French company UMIAMI has chosen Alsace as the location for its plant producing plant protein as an alternative to meat. It is taking over the former Knorr building to develop an industrial activity that will eventually create up to 200 jobs.
