A Strategic Investment for European Energy Sovereignty

Holosolis, a European industrial initiative supported by EIT InnoEnergy, IDEC Group, and TSE, has selected Eastern France for the establishment of its first photovoltaic gigafactory. Located in Hambach (Moselle), the site will host one of the largest solar panel production facilities in Europe, with an annual capacity of 5 GW—equivalent to 10 million panels.

This strategic investment contributes directly to the European Union’s REPowerEU plan and the European Solar Industrial Alliance (ESIA), aiming to strengthen Europe’s energy independence and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy.
